Artist Feature: Brie M Jensen Gallery

My name is Brie Jensen and I’m the artist and designer behind

Throughout my entire life I have been surrounded by art. Both my father and mother are artists and their work has greatly influenced me. My father is a third generation wood craftsman and I have learned many of my wood craft skills from him. My parents both have strong sense of design and balance that they employ into their work. I am very grateful for them and the help they have given me throughout the years.

I am majoring in 3D Studio Arts with an emphasis in sculpture. This last semester I was accepted to also pursue Art Education as a double major. After my undergraduate studies I am going to continue my education and receive my Master’s of Fine Arts Degree. I am studying to become an art teacher and eventually a professor of fine arts.

 My shop contains sculptures for people, homes, and the office. They are made with wheel-thrown pottery, welded metal, stone, and wood turnings that have added elements such as reclaimed wood, antique door knobs and old rusty nails.
